3 Holiday Activities I’m Hoping to Do This Season with my Toddler

I know– Thanksgiving isn’t here yet and I am already in Christmas mode.  It’s been a year… and I’m ready to kick 2024 out the door with a really lovely holiday season.  I’ve started looking into holiday events that would be new experiences for my little one and I – and here are the top 3 on my radar!

  1. Legoland, NY.  I know this park is a great summer destination, but I saw a picture of a Lego Santa greeting kids and it TOTALLY cracked me up.  Tickets are pretty affordable this month and I am very interested to see how the legos do Christmas.  It seems like Elves will be taking over the park with holiday decor and festivities.  With the mild weather we have been having, I’m thinking this would be a great place to check out in November.   Tickets range from $49-$69 for ages 2+.

  2. Storybook Land.  People have been telling me for YEARS that Storybook Land crushes Christmas.  We’ve been a lot in the warmer months and LOVE it there.  We are definitely interested in seeing the place all lit-up and ready for the Merriest Season of them all!  They open for the holiday season November 16th with sale prices available until November 9th.  Tickets are currently $33.99 for ages 2+ but will likely go up after November 9th 2024.

  3. Peddler’s Village.  I really wanted to check out Peddler’s Village for the holidays last year and it just didn’t happen.  This year it is DEFINITELY on my “must-do” list.  Peddler’s Village has a HUGE Gingerbread House contest on display starting November 15th and the Giggleberry Fair (indoor fun for kids with an obstacle course, carousel, arcade + more!)  hosts several days of Santa Breakfasts!  Of course, there’s also lots of shopping for mama to tackle her Christmas list!  Pricing for Giggleberry varies depending on your chosen activities but you can see the Gingerbread House entries for free in the Peddler’s Village visitor and event center.  We hear there are over 100 entries!

Bring out the holly!  Me and my little dude are ready for ALL of the Holiday Fun!  Don’t worry— if we try out any of these new-to-us celebrations, we will be sure to share about it HERE!
