End of Summer Ideas for You and Your Toddler

Summer is coming to a close! Enjoy these few playful end of summer ideas before we start planning our pumpkin patch pictures!

1) Paint seashells with watercolors on the beach. Get a cheap watercolor set and some brushes and head to the sand where you don't need to worry much about messes! Finding special beach treasures is always so fun! We keep ours in a mason jar.

2) Try out a new ice cream place. Support a small business in another town and walk around exploring a new neighborhood or main street! I want to take my son to Day's Ice Cream in Ocean Grove. If you've never been, it's a cute and walkable summer town and the ice cream shoppe is adorable with a sweet little pavilion attached.

3) MINI GOLF! If you haven't read about our mini golf outing, you can check it out HERE. I'm definitely hoping we can do this again before the summer is over. He had so much fun! I'm thinking we'll try Castaway Cove Mini Golf next in Point Pleasant Beach.

4) Last Splash at a Splash Pad. There are great toddler friendly splash parks all over including some right on the boardwalk in Seaside and in Asbury. Enjoy the last of the hot weather with a day at the spraypark! Make sure you bring the sunscreen!

We've had lots of Mommy and Me fun this summer but I am so looking forward to the cooler weather-- bubs and I prefer cooler temps for outdoor adventures! Bring on the farm adventures!
