Planet Playskool is OPEN!

I love keeping my eye out for fun adventures for the 1-3 year old crowd and when something this new and this BIG arrived on the scene, I had to learn more!

Planet Playskool is a new play center primarily designed for ages 3-9 that brings toy concepts to life through experiential STEAM-based play!  Activity zones include Play-do themes, PJ Masks, Transformers, Tinker toys and more– but what am I MOST excited about?  A play area themed after a beloved childhood board game— MOUSE TRAP!

This attraction is located in Paramus (at the Westfield Garden State Plaza) and includes 20,000 square feet of interactive fun.   We are planning our visit soon but I suspect it will have the feel of the Legoland Discovery Centers that have been doing well with similar age groups.  My little guy loves the one at the American Dream Mall so I suspect this play center will be equally as fun.

Planet Playskool is open 7 days a week from 10am to 9pm Monday through Saturday and 10am-6pm on Sundays.  You need to enter 2 hours before closing if you are trying to pop in at the end of the day.

Ticket sales are $30 for kids 2-17, kids under 2 are free and seniors are only $25.  Military discounts are also available.  If you book online during the month of July, you can also save $5 per ticket.

We are planning our trip and can’t wait to check it out!  I appreciate the nods to us 80s babies– there is even a little cafe themed after a big item from our childhood— Easy Bake Ovens!

Stay tuned here for our thoughts and pictures once we can make the trip up!  For more information, visit PlanetPlayskool.com.
